World Champion Fernando Alonso paid his first (official) visit to his new team's HQ yesterday (Monday), when he visited the McLaren Technology Centre in Woking.
Fernando, sporting a new, rather abrupt and workmanlike haircut, certainly compared to his tonsorial image during his Renault career, spent time working with the engineers, having a final seat fitting as well as taking part in a simulation programme, all in preparation for when the team's 2007 testing programme which commences later this month.
The team launches its 2007 contender next Monday (15), with Fernando giving the car its track debut on Wednesday.
