iSport delighted with Valencia test

Having completed their driver line up, iSport went to Valencia for the final test of 2006 in good spirits with the aim of building the foundations for their 2007 Championship Challenge. Both drivers worked through a programme of set up options, which proved to be very productive. With such a competitive field and with lap times so close, it was very satisfying to end up at the top of the time sheets. Andi just pipped Timo for overall fastest time by less than three hundredths of a second, but both drivers were happy with their performance and went on to do race simulations on the final afternoon. These also proved to be very satisfactory and concluded a very successful test.

Paul Jackson: "I am very happy with the way everything went at the test, there is a great atmosphere in the team and I think we have justified our choice of drivers. There is a long way to go yet and I fully expect the opposition to be even tougher next year than it has been in 2006. Our aim is to remain focussed on our job and keep pushing from every angle to try to maintain a high level of performance. Both drivers did an outstanding job, as did the whole team, so we can all take a well earned break over Christmas and be ready for the new season."
