In excess of 125,000 people turned up to watch Marc Gene carry out a number of "demonstration runs" in Barbados at the weekend.
The event, attended by the Ferrari team and Ferrari clients, followed the launch of the new Shell V Power fuel of which SOL Simpson Oil are the local agents, and was masterminded by Kyffin Simpson who is the chairman of Sol (Simpson Oil Ltd).
Marc Gene alternated between a 2004 and 2005 car, and though it was only a three kilometre course going uphill, people were hanging off the rooftops to get a better view!
