A Finnish news agency is claiming that double World Champion Mika Hakkinen, at the behest of McLaren, has undergone a health inspection in order that the Woking team can evaluate the Finn during an upcoming F1 test.
The story comes on the back of media claims - and McLaren denials - that Hakkinen is being considered either as a test driver for the former champions, or even partner to Fernando Alonso.
With this in mind, Pitpass asked Renault if it was considering a 'golden oldie' should Fisichella or Kovalainen not come up to scratch.
"Moss" was the immediate response from Enstone.
Asked if they were referring to Stirling, Pat or Kate, the French outfit has, thus far, failed to reply.
