Christian Klien will attend this weekend's final round of the Formula One World Championship in Interlagos, Brazil, in order to continue discussions with the teams which have been in close contact with him since he left Red Bull Racing last month.

In recent weeks Christian has been busy meeting with representatives from Formula One teams and car manufacturers as he evaluates his options to race or test in 2007, and his trip to the Brazilian Grand Prix is another step in the process of deciding which direction to take.

"Since the Italian Grand Prix in Monza I have been busy working on my career options in Formula One," said Christian. "It is a very interesting time because I have been able to talk to people freely and understand the different approach and culture in each of the teams. Most of the teams seem to want young, quick drivers but also experience, and I am fortunate that, at 23 years of age, I already have three years experience behind me. I am very confident that the options available to me will enable me to further develop my career in Formula One."

Christian is also pleased to visit the Interlagos track where he started from the third row of the grid in 2005 after qualifying in 6th position, ten places in front of his team mate. He finished both the 2004 and 2005 Brazilian Grands Prix, scoring a 9th place last year, the first of the non-manufacturer cars in the field. In both years his team mates crashed out.

"It's a very good circuit and one I really enjoyed driving on in 2004 and 2005. It is quite technical and a great driver's track which I enjoy. It's frustrating not to be racing at this year's event, but I will be using my time to make sure that it is not long before I return to the wheel of a Formula One car. I have received a huge amount of support from fans and within the Formula One paddock, which I have really appreciated. It's great to have this kind of reaction."
