Others have now learned what Pitpass first reported several weeks ago, namely that former Toyota designer Mike Gascoyne is heading to Midland.
According to our sources Gascoyne has been in talks with Midland for some time, however the deal is dependent on the successful buy-out of the team, by a Dutch consortium led by Michiel Mol, which is expected to go through at any time now.
For Gascoyne, who has also worked with McLaren Tyrrell, Sauber and Renault, this would mean a second stint at Dadford Roads, the Englishman having previously spent time with Jordan.
