McLaren taken to the cleaners

According to reports, McLaren bosses are fuming after a pair of light-fingered cleaners escaped punishment after stealing thousands of pounds worth of items from the Team's Woking HQ and selling them on Ebay.

The un-named duo, aged 27 and 33 worked for a contract cleaners at the Formula One team's Surrey HQ, and over a brief period of time in 2005 helped themselves to all manner of items including flags, team clothing and replicas, and subsequently sold them on Ebay.

Reports that the duo stole a race-ready MP4-19 but was unable to beat the £10 reserve price are unfounded.

Then again, and on a serious note… in a country where people are getting away with murder, literally, on a daily basis, did Ron and the boys really expect to see justice done?
