A1 Team Switzerland completed the last of the two-day pre-race test at Silverstone. Today the team fielded two drivers: Neel Jani and Marcel Fässler who drove in the
morning and afternoon respectively while Sebastien Buemi was traveling to his next race in Zandvoort.

The weather remained dry despite the heavy grey clouds over Silverstone today. Between them, Jani and Fässler completed 90 laps. Fässsler clocked a best lap of 1.12.6 and completed 40 laps. In the afternoon Jani managed a best lap of 1.11.6. He completed 50 laps during the morning session.

Max Welti team Principal A1 Team Switzerland commented, "It was important for Team A1 to test three drivers after a long summer intersession. This test session is important for the preparations towards the first race and as a newly formed team we have a lot of work to get through. Overall a positive test to learn and refresh working procedures."

Neel Jani: "We identified a few problems today. But overall an excellent day that leads to good preparation of the team for the first race of the season. If things go as per plan, I will race as of the third race of the season because of my duties at the wheel of the Toro Rosso team as a testing driver for the China and Japan F1 Grand Prix."

Marcel Fässler: "I wish the test would have lasted even longer. I feel that the more laps we do, the most confident I get. Overall I had a good day. Despite heavy grey clouds, the weather remained dry which helped us go through the entire program."
