Rubens Barrichello topped the timesheets on Honda's final day of testing at Vallelunga, out-pacing his teammate Jenson button by 0.388s.

The Brazilian completed some early acclimatisation runs before working through an aero evaluation, alongside chassis set-up work. He continued the chassis programme in the afternoon, completing a total of 112 laps.

Button continued his Monaco preparation during the morning session as he also ran through a chassis set-up programme. He then spent the afternoon running through a comprehensive tyre programme, completing a total of 147 laps.

Meanwhile, WilliamsF1, which will continue here tomorrow, has Mark Webber and Narain Karthikeyan on duty.

"Narain started the day with back-to-back cooling options for oil and water before comparing different brake materials in the afternoon," revealed Mike Condliffe. "Mark continued the work started yesterday on the set-up options for Monaco, including aero changes to affect the balance of the car. This was followed by the conclusion of tyre compound tests which will assist with the final choice for the race.

"We will have the track to ourselves tomorrow and conclude this test with Mark and Narain," he added.
