David Coulthard has often said that opinions are like a***holes, in that everyone's got one.

Anyway, speaking of opinions, just days ahead of the Monaco Grand Prix, where he will be making a serious killing courtesy of the corporate crowd, former F1 star Eddie Irvine has popped up, to share his wisdom with race fans and Sun readers.

The former Jaguar and Ferrari star believes that Jenson Button made a major mistake in staying with Honda, and despite the legal tug-of-war, which saw the Englishman get his way and remain with the Japanese outfit rather than moving to WilliamsF1, was ill advised.

"His driving is up there now but he's tied to a team that can't seem to do it," Irvine told The Sun. "Formula One success is about being in the right car at the right time.

"Jenson was either badly advised or made a mistake."

The Ulsterman, who hasn't voiced his opinion on matters F1 for some time, was speaking at the launch of the charity event, the T-Mobile Soccer Aid Dribble. (Don't go there!)
