The Pitpass Bahrain GP Quiz

NEWS STORY

Ah, spring is in the air, and a young man's thoughts turn to.... Formula One, well, Geoff Collins' thoughts turn to F1 at any rate.

Having almost landed Pitpass in the 'deep and meaningful' with his recent ramblings on the new qualifying format, young Geoff returns to what he does best, frustrating F1 fans who think they know it all.

A minimum of twenty-eight press releases a day - but who's counting? - remind us that Bahrain is about to host the first Grand Prix of the 2006 season, the third in its history... but what do you remember of the previous two events?

For example:

Qualifying was spread over two days in 2005. Fernando Alonso took overall pole, but who was fastest in the first session?

and

Who got punted off the circuit close to the end and missed out on a point?

And looking back twelve months to April 2004...

Which 2005 podium finisher finished highest in 2004?

and, sorry Ron and Norbert, but it's Geoff's quiz...

The race distance was 57 laps. How many laps did the two Mercedes engines in the McLarens last between them?

Think you know F1, think you know the Bahrain GP?

Do the quiz and keep Geoff occupied, for you know what they say about idle hands.
