Contrary to our previous report, Enrico Toccacelo, A1 Team Italy driver, will get behind the wheel of the green and white car of A1 Team Pakistan in both the Sprint and the Feature races in Durban.
Following an accident on track during the third official practice session yesterday morning, A1 Team Pakistan driver, Adam Khan, will not be racing.
So as not to disappoint the Pakistani fans, the other seat holders have agreed to allow Toccacelo, who has previously raced for A1 Team Italy, to carry the colours of A1 Team Pakistan this weekend.
As the car did not take part in Qualifying, A1 Team Pakistan will start the Sprint race from the back of the grid.
