After a streak of several great podiums and the team's first win at the last round of the A1 Grand Prix series in Dubai, A1 Team Switzerland moves to the all-new Durban street circuit that has been built especially for the seventh round of the inaugural A1 Grand Prix series.

Much like at the world famous Monaco street circuit, the amount of space available around Durban's 3.2km temporary street circuit is limited by the downtown landscape, but still the organisers have fitted in temporary grandstand seating for 22,000. The circuit will run in a clockwise direction and the very tight first corner promises exciting starts to Sunday's races.

A1 Team Switzerland is now a strong second in the Championship with 75 points after the strong results in Malaysia and Dubai.

Neel Jani commented: "Finally we got the car as we wanted it in the last race. I'm really happy to be in this position and I'm ready to continue the fight in the second half of the season. I'm very excited to go to South Africa where the circuit will be completely new to everyone. I'm confident we can do well again and aim to take our second win of the season."

Max Welti, team principal, A1 Team Switzerland added: "I'm confident that we'll be able to continue our strong run of form in Durban. The team is in great shape and now we're focused on closing in on A1 Team France. We have a good chance to take our second win this weekend."
