Only sharp-eyed readers, anoraks, and those with nothing else better to do, will have noticed an interesting little gem hidden away in the in the FIA's proposed regulations for 2008.

"At least 5.75% (m/m) of fuel must be from biological sources (Article 19.4.5)".

The reason being, according to the FIA, is to "keep ahead of developments in fuel for road cars".

A little investigation has revealed that that these "biological sources" will include agricultural waste such as fish oil and even manure, from cows.

And you thought that F1 was already powered by bulls**t - and a lot more that 5.75%!
