Speaking to Belgian TV station, RTBF, F1 supremo, Bernie Ecclestone, has said that there is hope for the future of the Grand Prix at Spa Francorchamps.
The event has been in doubt since the promoter went bankrupt and the (local) Wallon government, warned that it would not provide any further funding, having bailed out the promoter in 2005.
Talking to RTBF last night (Wednesday), Ecclestone said that "very serious negotiations" were underway.
Last week, Ecclestone warned that the race must go ahead since a contract has been signed.
