Although Aguri Suzuki is unwilling, or perhaps unable, to give too much information on his team's driver line-up, there is a growing belief that it could be all-Japanese.

Speaking at today's press conference, the former F1 star said: "It could be two Japanese drivers or one Japanese driver. It could even be two foreign drivers. Right now we are in a race with time and we have other priorities."

However, the names being linked with the team, along with Takuma Sato, are Kosuke Matsuura and Sakon Yamamoto, who drove the Jordan in the Friday practice sessions in Japan, and did quite an impressive job.

On Japanese TV later in the day, Bernie Ecclestone was interviewed, the Englishman promising to give the fledging team whatever support he can. Ecclestone then said that he would be "delighted to see the team enter F1 with an all-Japanese driver line-up", at which point Suzuki gave a wry smile.

Suzuki then revealed that the team plans to start testing a "new car" in mid-December, however there is still no idea as to what chassis is to be used.
