A1 Team Canada heads to Portugal this weekend for the third event in the A1 Grand Prix calendar. Following the phenomenal podium finish in the Feature race in Germany two weeks ago, the team is aiming to keep its feet on the ground and continue the learning process following their late debut in the series. Given the lack of testing compared to the majority of teams, A1 Team Canada will be allowed to participate in two 40 minute test sessions before the Official event practices on Friday which will help with the team's programme in understanding and fine-tuning the car.

Sean McIntosh: "We didn't go to Germany with high expectations – we needed to score points. By putting in some consistent laps and having a good strategy and team we made it to third. Now people have higher expectations heading into Estoril. We just have to remember that we're still learning the car and the extra test sessions should be a big help with us to catch up the others. I've only done about 30 laps of Estoril on a test day. I think it's another track that's going to be a challenge. It's quite ‘busy' so should keep all of the drivers on their toes."
