WilliamsF1 has confirmed that Nick Heidfeld will use the 'old' FW27 chassis this weekend at Silverstone - the package that scored a number of podiums in the first half of the season - while teammate Mark Webber will use the MkII, which features a revised aero-package, introduced at Magny Cours.
It's understood that the team allowed the drivers to make their own choice as to what car they would run, and will use the remainder of the weekend to perform a back-to-back comparison.
