More grid woe for Raikkonen

For the second successive race, Kimi Raikkonen will incur a ten-place grid penalty.

The Finn stopped out on track in today's second free practice session, and it has now been confirmed by McLaren that this was due to an engine failure.

This comes seven days after the Finn was dropped to thirteenth on the grid - having qualified third - following a similar failure during Friday free practice.

Following Raikkonen's penalty in France, Mercedes Motorsport boss, Norbert Haug, was openly critical of the new engine regulation.

Despite the French grid penalty however, thanks to a superb qualifying lap, good strategy and an excellent drive throughout the race, the Finn was able to finish second and thereby keep his championship hopes alive.
