One of several things that failed to materialize at Indianapolis - other than a proper race - was an announcement from Midland F1 (nee Jordan) as to whose power-plants the Silverstone based outfit will be using next season.
Although an announcement was due to be made over the Indianapolis weekend, it was never forthcoming.
Ahead of this weekend's French Grand Prix, it is understood that a decision will be announced and that it is most likely to see Midland continues using Toyota engines in 2006.
"We will make an announcement in the next few days," Team boss Colin Kolles told a Pitpass source, "but I can guarantee that we will invest on the stability and on the continuity."
