In the wake of the debacle that was the 2005 United States Grand Prix, Pitpass' server creaked and groaned under the sheer weight of traffic as F1 fans logged on to their favourite website to check whether they'd imagined what happened on Sunday afternoon, and to get the low-down on who was to responsible.
We know that many of you have experienced problems logging into Pitpass over the last 36 hours, but this has been due to the huge numbers of race fans visiting the site.
Rest assured, we find it as frustrating as you do, for in the same way that you experienced difficulties reading our many news updates - not to mention our special Taking Point - we had great difficulty posting stories.
Hopefully, we are now over the worst of it and normal service can be resumed.
