Two more nations will launch their A1 Grand Prix teams in the coming weeks.

On Wednesday 29 June, the consortium behind the Brazilian team, led by soccer star Ronaldo, will launch its entry, while a few days later, on Thursday 7 July, India will unveil its entry.

It's understood that up to four new teams (countries) will be announced in the weeks to come, including a German consortium, headed by Willi Weber, manager of the Schumacher brothers, which is preparing to sign on the dotted line, and talk of an Irish entry.

Meanwhile, A1 Grand Prix founder, Sheikh Maktoum, will drive an A1 GP car in the forthcoming Goodwood Festival of Speed, whose theme this year is, appropriately, 'Racing Colours - National Pride and Culture'.

The inaugural A1 Grand Prix series kicks off at Brands Hatch (England) on 25 September.
