We hear that McLaren encountered a number of problems during this week's 'test' at Elvington, the airfield in Yorkshire that British F1 teams use for straight-line testing, though seemingly not in contradiction of the 30-day test limit.
We hear that the Woking boys packed up early on Tuesday following a major engine failure, which filled the Yorkshire countryside with smoke and bits of Mercedes-Benz.
