Now before we go any further, let us make it quite clear that this is not a 'Photoshop special', this is a genuine picture of Bernie and he is holding a rather large knife.
The question is why?
The scene is the Monaco paddock on Friday, according to John Marsh of Redzone Images; "He came out of his hospitality tent with it, went into the FOM office and came back out five minutes later."
Well we're totally bemused, however, rather than asking the man himself, we thought we'd leave it up to you.
