At a time when WilliamsF1 is praising its drivers, and lamenting the fact that it is hasn't yet given them the equipment with which they can battle Renault, Ferrari and McLaren, it seems odd that Mark Webber has taken the opportunity to 'diss' his teammate.

Asked by the Herald Sun in Melbourne why he hasn't achieved more this season, Webber merely turned attention to his teammate, Nick Heidfeld.

"Nick just sits there," said the Australian. "He's happy to do that. "I refuse to sit there. I'm going to try. I don't want to settle for seventh or eighth.

"I don't think I've been beaten by a teammate when I've finished, apart from last weekend," he continued. "Even in the races where I've had a DNF, I've been ahead of my teammate at the time."

Although Webber has out-qualified Heidfeld on three occasions this season, it is the German who has the upper hand as far as fastest race laps are concerned, the former Sauber star being quicker than his teammate in the last three races.
