With attention fixed firmly on BAR, we can report that all appears to be quiet at Minardi.

Following the recent carry-on in Melbourne, it's understood that team boss Paul Stoddard's bitter war of the words with the FIA has died down.

Therefore, the outlook for Sepang (fingers tightly crossed) is fine, with a small amount of rumbling, but no likelihood of storms. Though the atmosphere is sure to be 'charged', as ever.

This weekend, the team will once again run its 2004 car in 2005-spec. Its 2005 contender, the PS05, is due to make its race debut at Imola next month.
