Paul Stoddart drove a Minardi through the streets of Melbourne yesterday, the car featuring a prominent 'Melbourne 10 Years' logo.
As it happens, race organizers too are claiming that this year's event is the tenth anniversary of Formula One Grand Prix racing in Melbourne.
This is incorrect.
The first Formula One World Championship Grand Prix in Melbourne was in 1996, this is the tenth race not the tenth anniversary.
That is next year.
