Ahead of the new season, Ralf Schumacher has been getting pretty vocal.

Earlier this week the Toyota driver cast doubt on the ability of his former employers, telling Gazzetta dello Sport that WilliamsF1 might have a great engine (BMW), but that the team itself, has "very few ideas".

Now, Ralf has turned his attention to his brother's team, Ferrari, predicting that the Italian team's reign is about to end.

"It could all turn around but for the moment the benchmark seems to be Renault or McLaren," he told Reuters. "I think it's going to be a tough season for Ferrari.

"By the look of it in the testing season, you would say that Ferrari are not the benchmark any more," he added.

Similarly, Toyota has looked far from impressive in pre-season testing, technical director Mike Gascoyne introducing a whole raft of aerodynamic updates in recent weeks as the Japanese team struggled.
