Now there's a funny thing

To use Max Mosley's vernacular, the manufacturers have spent much time "huffing and puffing" regarding the supply of competitively priced engine packages for F1.

When first suggested, most of the manufacturers appeared positive. However, one by one they came up with their excuses as to why it wouldn't work.

Now, as the GPWC sets out to woo the nine 'rebel' F1 teams into signing up, they are guaranteed "from 2006 the supply of competitive engines at an affordable price to a second team which commits to such series".

Funny how quick the huffing and puffing stops once these people get down to business.
