The Red Bull Racing Team announced today that the launch date of the team's 2005 car, the RB1, will be Monday 7th February at the Circuito De Jerez.
The RB1 will be the first car to race under the team's new ownership by Red Bull, makers of the worlds No.1 energy drink, who bought the Jaguar Racing team in November 2004 from the Ford Motor Company.
The RB1 will be the result of the on-going development and evolution of the Jaguar R5, the 2004 Jaguar Racing car.
The Milton Keynes based team, have retained their existing staff structure and despite the recent sales process are on schedule with the launch programme for the new car.
