It's been widely reported that Toyota protégé Ryan Briscoe has "withdrawn" from a test with Jordan and will instead look at spending 2005 in the Indy Racing League.
Although the young Australian did have talks with Jordan he was never scheduled to test at Jerez, and contrary to reports in the Australian media was never "favourite for a Jordan race drive".
Thus far, the only driver scheduled to test for the Irish outfit in Spain is Christijan Albers.
