As Ferrari prepares to get testing for the 2005 season underway, the Spanish media is claiming that Marc Gene is about to be unveiled as the Italian team's second test driver.
The Maranello outfit is in action at Barcelona today (Monday), as is Toyota, however the Spanish press is claiming that Gene's move to Ferrari will be officially confirmed on Tuesday.
Reports linking Gene with Ferrari first appeared in mid-October, The Spaniard said to be unhappy after being dropped after two (disappointing) races in which he replaced the injured Ralf Schumacher.
