Jacques Villeneuve spent his first official day of work with SAUBER PETRONAS: The Canadian was at the Formula 1 factory in Hinwil today to have his seat made for the C23. Villeneuve, who signed a two-year contract with the Swiss team, will be testing for SAUBER PETRONAS for the first time in Barcelona on 26 November.

"The first day of work in a new team is always something very special," said the Canadian. "I'm looking forward to my first test and my first impressions of the C23 with eager anticipation. During the course of the season Sauber's performance curve was clearly pointing upwards, and of course I'm hoping that we'll be able to continue this trend next year," the ex-World Champion said confidently."
