It's understood that the three banks - BayernLB, Lehman Brothers and JP Morgan - which are taking action against Bernie Ecclestone, could be seeking compensation running into nine-figures.

The three banks, which own seventy-five-per-cent of F1 - with Ecclestone's SLEC owning the remaining twenty-five-per-cent - are in the process of launching a number of actions against Ecclestone.

BayernLB is understood to be expecting a court decision regarding one of the actions within the next fortnight.
