Pirelli has revealed the compounds to be used in Brazil and Abu Dhabi

Pirelli will take its hard, medium and soft compounds to Brazil for the penultimate race of the season.

The P Zero Orange hard, P Zero White medium and P Zero Yellow soft is the same combination previously used in Spain and Britain and to be used in Malaysia and Japan.

A set of the hard and medium must be used at some point in the race and each driver must have both these sets available for the race, and must use at least one of them.

Each driver must also save for Q3 one set of the softs. This set will be given back to Pirelli after Q3 for those who qualify in the top 10, but the remaining drivers will keep it for the race.

The teams are free to choose the remaining 10 sets; making up 13 sets in total for the Interlagos weekend.

For the season finale in Abu Dhabi, the soft, supersoft and ultrasoft have been nominated.

The P Zero Yellow soft, P Zero Red supersoft and P Zero Purple ultrasoft is the same combination that was used in Monaco, Canada and Austria and to used again in Singapore.

A set of the soft and supersoft must be used at some point in the race and each driver must have both these sets available for the race, and must use at least one of them.

Each driver must also save for Q3 one set of the ultrasofts. This set will be given back to Pirelli after Q3 for those who qualify in the top 10, but the remaining drivers will keep it for the race.

The new 2016 tyre regulations mean that tyre nomination for long-haul events have to be made 14 weeks in advance, whereas for European races the deadline is eight weeks in advance.
