The FIA has announced a number of minor changes to the Circuit de Catalunya ahead of this weekend's Spanish Grand Prix.

The kerb on the approach to Turn 1 has been renewed and the verge behind it has been laid with asphalt. Furthermore, the kerbs on the exit of Turns 9 and 12 have been
renewed and the artificial grass behind them extended, while a 7 metre wide strip of gravel around the outside of Turn 11 has been replaced with asphalt.

Also, the leading edges of the combination kerbs on the apex of Turns 13, 14 and 15 have been chamfered in order to remove the step there previously.

Two DRS zones will be in use this weekend. The first has a detection point 86m before Turn 9 and an activation point 40m after while DRS detection point two is at the Safety Car line, with activation 157m after Turn 16.
