Having managed to avoid breaking the official FIA curfew all season, Ferrari has now done it on successive days.

Yesterday, the FIA's technical delegate Jo Bauer reported that Ferrari personnel were "within the confines of the circuit during the six-hour period which commenced at 0400", the curfew in Abu Dhabi running from 04:00 to 10:00.

Today, as new components continue to arrive from Italy, and Ferrari seeks to help Fernando Alonso regain his championship lead, not forgetting the Constructors' Championship, the Italian team was at it again.

Over the course of the season teams are allowed to break the curfew four times before being penalised, in one weekend Ferrari has used up two of its 'get out of jail' cards.

The stewards subsequently issued a statement confirming that the Maranello outfit had escaped sanction.

It read:

"Having received a report from the FIA F1 Technical Delegate concerning the Ferrari team having used a second individual exception under Art 30.19 F1 Sporting regulations, the Stewards decided to investigate the case.

Having heard the Team representative, the Stewards note that the Ferrari team now have used two of their four exceptions under the above Regulations. As a result the Stewards decide no further action is necessary."
