Jenson Button keeps Montreal win following stewards investigation.

The McLaren driver was subject to two investigations following today's Canadian Grand Prix, one as a result of his clash with teammate Lewis Hamilton the other following a later incident involving Fernando Alonso.

However, having investigated both incidents, the Race Stewards, who included Emerson Fittipaldi, ruleddecided that no further action was needed.

The Englishman won the race on the last lap when Sebastian Vettel, under intense pressure from the 2009 champion, made a mistake.

Prior to this the McLaren driver had stopped no less than six times, once to serve a drive through penalty, and after the penultimate Safety Car period was in twenty-first position.

Today's victory moves him to second in the drivers' standings, albeit 60 points behind Sebastian Vettel.
