As expected, a heavy tropical storm hit Singapore late last night, which saw heavy rain lash the city state for more than six hours.
With several hours to go before the opening free practice session, the track has fully dried. However, further downpours are expected throughout the remainder of the weekend.
While the majority of the drivers are claiming not to be bothered about the prospect of rain - at least publicly - there remains a question mark as to how a downpour might affect visibility being that the event is taking place under 'flood lights'.
