No matter what happens today, Michael Schumacher will go home with at least one more trophy to place in his rather large trophy cabinet.

Football legend Pele is to present the German with a specially commissioned 'Testimonial Trophy' before today's race in respect of his "special contribution" to the Formula One.

In 2002, Pele was invited to wave the chequered flag at the end of his home Grand Prix, however, involved in a conversation with an official, by the time he turned around to wave the flag, the winner, Schumacher, had crossed the line and was already on his celebration lap.

Previously, in 2000, Pele presented the winners' trophy, once again Schumacher won, but the German forgot to take the trophy with him and it was found several days later behind the podium.
