Ferrari and McLaren were in action at Paul Ricard once again today, working on the 3.24 mile 1E-SC Short configuration.

For the Italian team the day’s work schedule provided for continuation of the programmes begun yesterday. Both Felipe Massa and Luca Badoer worked mainly on evaluating various types of Bridgestone tyre for the forthcoming Canadian and USA Grands Prix.

Felipe also continued experimenting with new aerodynamic solutions, while Luca worked on development of new mechanical components and electronics.

McLaren, which once again had Kimi Raikkonen and Gary Paffett on duty, continued yesterday's work on aerodynamic modifications and set-up work for Montreal. In addition, the test team were operating brake programmes for the Circuit Gilles Villeneuve, which is notoriously hard on this area of the car.
