Pitpass in corruption shock!

NEWS STORY

Yes it's true, Pitpass is corrupt, or rather, it was corrupt.

Sadly, we are not referring to brown envelopes filled with green folding stuff in return for advertorials, though we remain open to all offers, but the corruption of a partition… whatever that is.

As the wraps were pulled from the Renault R26 in Monaco, and having observed the press embargo rules - unlike some - Pitpass suffered a catastrophic technical failure, which was both instant and entirely merciless.

We won't bore you with the gory details, not that we understand them anyway, but it all boils down to the corruption of a partition on our server (sic... indeed very sic).

An initial failure in the early hours of Tuesday morning was the warning and later that day the proverbial doo-doo hit the fan.

Many thanks to the guys at Fastservers and Chris and Phil at SysExcel who worked tirelessly for many hours getting us back on-line.

We apologize for any inconvenience that our corruption has caused readers - not for the first time - and hope that the one good thing to come out of this is for you to realise how much you miss us when we are not there.
