Several teams will attend a special shakedown at Silverstone next Monday (19), four days before the inaugural race weekend kicks off at Brands Hatch.
Pitpass understands that the new Czech Republic team will use the test to familiarise itself with the car, while Canada is also scheduled to attend.
Although Canada has been signed up to the series for some time, it didn't attend either the Silverstone or Paul Ricard tests, leading to fears that its entry was in doubt. However, as Pitpass revealed on Saturday, Canada will definitely contest the series.
It is hoped that several more countries might be announced before the series gets underway, with Italy, Spain and Japan believed to be in serious talks with the organizers of the series.
On Wednesday, the New Zealand teams hosts a special reception in London to launch its team.
