Pitpass' very own Stephen Simpson, who as regular readers will know, is currently contesting the 2005 British Formula Renault Championship, is driving South Africa’s A1 GP car at Silverstone today and tomorrow.
It’s understood the youngster will be South Africa’s sole representative today, while on Thursday he will be joined by Tomas Scheckter.
South Africa has yet to nominate its line-up, however its understood that Alan van der Merwe is hot favourite to get the drive.
