It's been revealed that reigning British F3 champion, Nelson Piquet Jr, will test for BAR at Jerez next week.
The South American youngster, son of three-time world champion, Nelson Piquet, is one of four young hopefuls that the Brackley outfit is evaluating.
Piquet Jr is already committed to the new GP2 series next year, so we shouldn't read too much into the test, however it will be good to see how he compares, not only to his young rivals, but to the established stars.
Piquet has previously tested from WilliamsF1.
