Mark Webber said he couldn't believe his eyes when he sat down to watch the closing day of the Athens Olympics and saw the very same protester who ran out in front of him at the 2003 Foster's British Grand Prix, tackle and pull Brazilian marathon runner, Vanderlei de Lima, into the crowds as he led the race.

The 28-year old Jaguar Racing driver who had just returned to the UK after crashing out on the opening lap of yesterday's Belgian Grand Prix, was watching the day's highlights when he immediately recognised the so-called Irish priest, Cornelius Horan.

"I couldn't believe it - I said straight away it was the same person who ran out in front of us at Silverstone - lets to be honest, you can't really mistake someone who dresses like that! Then, when I read the papers this morning, there he was! I said he was a complete nutter last year and my view certainly hasn't changed!"

The protester was jailed for two months following last year's Silverstone incident.
