According to reports coming out of Brazil, BAR star Takuma Sato, on a PR visit to the country on behalf of British American Tobacco, was stopped on arrival at Sao Paulo Airport and refused entry.
It's understood that the Japanese driver was not in possession of the necessary visa, and was therefore detained before being sent back to the UK.
According to reports, British American Tobacco is blaming British Airways, claiming that the airline should have checked the driver had the correct documentation before leaving the UK.
