I suspect it might be a first this weekend, the first time a driver has won two races this season.

J'agree. Also, after a relatively enjoyable Bahrain GP, and an exciting Barcelona GP, I'm kiiiind of tentatively looking forward to Valencia.

Mercs could be in good stead here if they've gotten to grips with the tyre temps.

Just put the BBC live practice on. Legard - NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

Lots of people munching through their rubber with lock ups. Some tricky corners on this track.

Given the nature of the track I'm expecting a snooze fest sadly.
I think I'll have to get my excitement from a certain quarter final in the evening Whistle Embarassed Shocked

In a way I think we might be in for a good 'un - the problem with some races has been that the tyres ought to provide some good stuff racing wise but the DRS coupled with the fact its a circuit where passing happens naturally means that there's not actually been much proper racing (TM). Therefore, taking these tyres into an environment where passing is tricky but possible, with one fewer DRS zone, might just work.

Or, it may just be a procession.

Hey ho, let's see Very Happy

It's going to be Vettel again. Newey has been up to his usual devilry, with a new box of tricks for this race.

I like that there's open contempt for this awful track from both pundits and drivers.

One of the more interesting Q3 sessions, seemed like a lot of folk were fast out there.

Why is Jenson Button allowed to get away with incessant moaning? Anyone else and the "rattle out of pram" statements would be thrown around willynilly.

We know he can't throw a sub-par car around, so he's either terrible at setup or just generally not as fast.

Also yes. Hoping it's being noticed by a few people in suits in the paddock, too.

less than a second in first 10 place.

No further action. Was deemed a busy track.

I think it'd be both great and hilarious if F1 2012's first repeat winner was the Williams of Pastor Maldonado. Go get 'em Pastor Very Happy
