I always used to look forward to the early evening coverage of the Canadian Grand Prix. This year I didn't watch it at all as the BBC highlights were on too late for me. First race I have missed for years. But did I miss it? Do I feel worse off for not watching it? Does it make me want to subscribe to Sky?
No, to all three. Anyone else feel the same? |

| You missed a thriller - if you're a real enthusiast, you'd find a way to see the races. |

Yeah, I think that's the point. I have been a real enthusiast now for over 45 years. I will watch the highlights on BBC red button but the race will go ahead whether I watch it live or not and the fact that I don't watch it live will not affect the outcome.
I think it must be an age thing.... |

I'm that sad that I'm completely the other way when it comes to watching races.
Whilst it wasn't the ideal choice for me, I really felt that I had to watch each race live and therefore as a result, I purchased Sky.
Now that I have the choice, I will also catch up with the BBC coverage at a later date and thus see everything twice.
Twice the fun you see. |
