Yes but... whilst I'm a great admirer of Alonso's driving, I also see Button as a reliable witness so perhaps this comment by JB puts that pass in a somewhat different perspective: "Earlier in the race, it was disappointing to be passed by Fernando. Did anyone else think how old Bernie is starting to look, or how hesitant his replies were?

Perhaps CVC might have taken notice, given the non-announcement they put out.
